Muesli Recipe

Looking for a fast, nutritious breakfast? Muesli is similar to granola but uncooked and without the added sugar. You can buy packaged muesli but its cheaper to make at home. You can also customize it to your nutritional needs!

Here’s my mix:

1.5 cups of rolled oats

1/4 cup of dried fruit (raisins, currants, apples, apricots, or coconut)

1/4 cup nuts (such as walnuts or almonds)

1/4 cup seeds (such as chia, flax or hemp)

Directions: Combine all and store in a large air-tight jar.

To enjoy it as a breakfast, you can mix with yogurt or milk. If you like the oats to have a softer consistency, mix the muesli with the liquid the night before. You can combine them in a jar with a lid for an easy ‘grab-and-go’ meal.

Nuts and seeds contain protein, healthy fats and fiber to help keep your blood sugar balanced. Some have additional benefits for certain health concerns - reach out if you would like help customizing your recipe.
